Recalls
  • Fuel system connection. Recall 15V811000 affects 185 vehicles manufactured between September 8, 2015, and November 11, 2015. The low pressure fuel line may connect improperly to the fuel pump feed pipe, risking fuel leaks that increase fire hazards. Dealers will replace the low pressure fuel line assembly free of charge.
  • Brake fluid reservoir cap. Recall 22V536000 impacts 23,555 vehicles including the 2016 California T. The cap may not vent properly, creating a vacuum that can lead to brake fluid leakage and partial or total brake failure. Dealers will replace the reservoir cap and update the software to provide a new low fluid warning. Owner notifications began in late 2022.
  • Passenger air bag inflator. Recall 19V006000 covers 11,176 vehicles including 2015-2018 California T models. Exposure to humidity and temperature cycling can cause the inflator to explode during air bag deployment, possibly projecting metal fragments that cause injury or death. The passenger frontal air bag assembly will be replaced at no cost.
  • Air bag control module malfunction. Recall 19V411000 involves 893 vehicles including the 2016 California T. The air bag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may fail, causing air bags or seat belt pretensioners to deploy incorrectly or not at all, increasing injury risk during crashes. Dealers will replace the air bag ECU free of charge.

Owners who face repeated repairs due to these recalls or who have unresolved safety issues may have rights under their state’s lemon law. Consulting a qualified attorney can help clarify these rights and potential next steps.
