I am reporting a safety concern with an Evenflo EveryFit/All4One 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat (Model CS300212349, manufactured 9/24/2024), purchased online in late November 2024. On May 18, 2025, while removing my toddler from the car seat, I heard an audible cracking sound as she leaned forward with her arms out. I removed the seat from the vehicle and inspected it immediately. The foam was intact, but the cracking noise clearly came from the plastic structure of the seat. I contacted Evenflo and provided video and photo evidence. They claimed the visible lines were part of the normal molding process. They suggested that if the foam had been cracked, I could align the pieces “like a puzzle” and continue using the seat. I reiterated that the foam was not cracked and that the sound came from the plastic, but they refused to confirm in writing that the seat was safe to use. I repeatedly asked the company to confirm in writing whether the seat would provide proper protection in an accident. They would not answer this question, and eventually stopped responding entirely to my calls and emails. I am extremely concerned that this car seat may be structurally compromised, and that the manufacturer is ignoring potential safety risks. The lack of accountability and refusal to guarantee safety is unacceptable. I rely on this seat daily while undergoing serious medical treatments and cannot afford to gamble on the well-being of my child.
