The pedestal mounting plate on the passenger's seat may be improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems" and number 210, "Seat belt assembly anchorages."

The Contact owns a 2023 Entegra Reatta XL. The contact stated that while attempting to adjust the driver‚Äôs seat, the breaker tripped. After the breaker tripped, the contact was unable to adjust the seat and the seat became inoperable. The contact reset the breaker and was able to readjust the seat. The contact stated that the seat could only be adjusted unoccupied; however, if seated in the seat the breaker would trip. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer and was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the seat was faulty and needed to be replaced. The RV was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 15,000.
