• Battery relay contactors. (NHTSA 24V160000) Affected 1342 vehicles. The relay contactors may remain stuck closed during battery charging, increasing fire risk. Dealers will update battery software at no cost. Notification letters were sent on May 17, 2024.
• Grey water tank support brackets. (NHTSA 25V072000) Affected 1106 vehicles. Brackets may contact and damage the fuel tank, causing leaks that raise fire risk. Dealers will replace the brackets free of charge. Owners were notified on March 7, 2025.
• Fuel tank damage. (NHTSA 25V072000) Affected 1106 vehicles. Due to damaged fuel tanks from bracket contact, leaks may occur creating fire hazards. Replacement of the support brackets is provided by dealers free of charge. Notifications issued March 7, 2025.
• Main wiring harness. (NHTSA 24V310000) Affected 6 vehicles. The wiring harness may chafe against the drive shaft, potentially causing a short circuit that results in loss of drive power, power steering, and brake control. This defect increases fire and crash risks. Mercedes dealers will inspect and reroute wiring as needed at no charge. Notifications mailed May 14, 2024.
