2021 ENTEGRA ASPIRE Complaints and Recall Information

The 2021 ENTEGRA ASPIRE has 1 complaint and 10 recalls filed with NHTSA. The complaint involves failure of the adhesive that holds windows to the frame, with incidents of windows separating from the frame while driving. Owners report safety risks related to falling or partially detached glass. The manufacturer denied responsibility in the complaint case, citing a prior recall for the issue.

Common Issues
  • Window adhesive failure. The adhesive bonding the vented portion of the windows can fail, causing the glass to detach or hang loosely from the frame, presenting a safety hazard on the road.

There are 10 recalls affecting multiple systems including seating, engine intake, window bonding, fuel system components, and electrical systems.

Recalls
  • Seats. (NHTSA Recall 24V061000) 148 vehicles affected. The passenger seat pedestal mounting plate may be improperly welded, possibly detaching the seat assembly. This increases injury risk. Dealers inspect and replace the pedestal if needed at no cost.
  • Engine air intake. (NHTSA Recall 22V665000) 856 vehicles affected. Lack of a water drain in the engine air intake box can cause water buildup, risking engine failure and crash. Dealers add a drain when necessary free of charge.
  • Window adhesive. (NHTSA Recall 21V529000) 833 vehicles affected. Adhesive failure on Hehr 6400 series windows can cause vent portions to detach, raising crash and injury risk. Dealers inspect and replace affected window vents for free.
  • Power seat wiring. (NHTSA Recall 20V600000) 379 vehicles affected. Poor routing or insufficient protection can cause wiring to chafe or melt, risking fire. Dealers inspect wiring protection and secure wires free of charge; remedy for amperage issue pending.
  • Fuel system hoses. (NHTSA Recall 21V767000) 119 vehicles affected. Fuel hoses between the pump and remote Stage 2 filter may leak, posing fire risk. Entegra and Cummins replace fuel hoses at no cost.
  • Instrument cluster. (NHTSA Recall 21V769000) 994 vehicles affected. The instrument cluster may intermittently go blank while driving, potentially hiding speed and warning lights. Dealers update software and secure duct work free of charge.
  • Fuel rail sealing washer. (NHTSA Recall 21V591000) 1284 vehicles affected. Improper seating of sealing washers may cause high-pressure fuel rail leaks, increasing fire risk. Entegra inspects and replaces faulty components for free.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs, safety defects, or unresolved recall issues on the 2021 ENTEGRA ASPIRE may have rights under their state’s lemon law. Consulting a consumer protection attorney can help clarify available options.
