2017 ENTEGRA ANTHEM Complaints and Recall Information
The 2017 ENTEGRA ANTHEM has 0 complaints and 5 recalls filed with NHTSA. Owners most frequently report issues related to safety recalls involving interior materials, throttle wiring, exterior lighting, and suspension components.
There are five recalls affecting various safety and functional systems on the 2017 ENTEGRA ANTHEM. These recalls address fire hazards, throttle control interference, lighting visibility, and steering control risks.
Recalls- Interior mattress flammability. Recall 16V761000 affects 634 vehicles equipped with a Tempurpedic Sealy Mattress that burns quickly, failing FMVSS 302 requirements. The risk involves insufficient time to exit in a fire. Dealers replace the mattress with a Sleep Number model free of charge.
- Throttle wiring interference. Recall 16V827000 covers 177 motorhomes for throttle circuit wires lacking twisted pairs, which causes electromagnetic interference. This may lead to unintended acceleration or deceleration, increasing crash risk. Spartan service centers install an overlay harness with twisted wires at no charge.
- Electrical wiring defect. Also part of recall 16V827000 affecting the same 177 vehicles, the wiring defect relates to the throttle circuit risk described above. The fix is the same overlay harness installation.
- Exterior lighting reflectors. Recall 17V695000 impacts 1,598 motorhomes missing required reflectors, violating FMVSS 108. This reduces vehicle visibility, raising crash risk. Dealers add compliant reflectors free of charge.
- Front suspension ball joints. Recall 17V187000 affects 2,161 vehicles with ball joints that can loosen and separate, causing partial steering loss. Spartan service centers remove, clean, apply thread locker, and reinstall the ball joints free of charge.
Owners facing repeated repairs or unresolved recall issues involving safety-critical defects should consider their potential rights under state lemon laws. Consulting with a qualified attorney may help clarify those rights.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Aspire, Anthem, Cornerstone, and Insignia motorhomes. The vehicles have lights that do not include reflectors and the vehicle does not have separate reflectors. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Risk: Without the required reflectors, the motorhome may be less visible to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM
Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2012-2013 and 2015-2018 Anthem; 2013 and 2017-2018 Aspire; and 2012-2018 Cornerstone motorhomes built on a Spartan Motors chassis. The ball joints on the independent front suspension (IFS) modules can loosen and separate, leading to a partial loss of steering.
Risk: A separated ball joint can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING
Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain model year 2017 Aspire, Anthem, Cornerstone, and Insignia motorhomes manufactured April 15, 2016, to October 25, 2016 and built on Spartan Motors chassis. The throttle circuit wires on the affected vehicles may not have been be twisted to cancel out electromagnetic interference, and as a result, interference may cause the throttle signal to be higher or lower than intended.
Risk: Unintended deceleration or acceleration can increase the risk of a crash.
2017 ENTEGRA ANTHEM
634 vehicles affected
EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER
Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Cornerstone and Anthem motorhomes manufactured April 7, 2015, to August 18, 2016. The affected vehicles are equipped with a Tempurpedic Sealy Mattress that may burn quickly when on fire. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 302, "Flammability of Interior Materials."
Risk: If the mattress burns quickly, a vehicle occupant may not have enough time to exit the vehicle in the event of a fire, increasing the risk of injury.
