  • LPG system gas leak. Covered under recall 20V727000 for the same 4,203 vehicles as the cooking appliance issue. The gas leak presents a fire hazard and will be corrected with a gasket and washer kit plus new bolts. Owners will be notified and repairs made at no cost.
  • Rearview mirror image reversal. Recall 19V202000 affects 3,051 vehicles equipped with ASA Electronics backup mirror-monitors model VOM74MM. The display may revert to factory settings causing a reversed camera image, which could cause the driver to turn the wrong way and increase crash risk. Forest River dealers will install a harness/relay/capacitor module to fix the problem free of charge.
  • Rear axle U-Bolts loose. Recall 18V357000 involves 471 vehicles where rear differential U-Bolts may loosen allowing axle movement. This defect can cause loss of vehicle control and increase crash risk. Dealers will inspect and tighten or replace the bolts at no cost. Owners have been notified by Forest River.

(Forest River) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Orion Class C, Freelander Class C, and Leprechaun Class C motorhomes, Rockport work trucks, and Berkshire Ultra Coach, and StarCraft shuttle buses, equipped with ASA Electronics back up mirror-monitors, model number VOM74MM. The affected displays may revert back to the factory default settings, causing the camera image to be reversed.

Risk: If the monitor displays the image in reverse, the driver may unintentionally turn the opposite direction, increasing the risk of crash.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Forest River Forester and Sunseeker and Coachmen Leprechaun and Freelander motorhomes. The U-Bolts that secure the rear differential may not have been properly tightened, causing them to loosen over time and allowing the rear axles to shift.

Risk: Loose rear axle assemblies can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
