POWER TRAIN

Check engine light came on. Chevy traverse lost power and would not shift past 45 miles an hour. Once parked a bad bucking when put into reverse and loss of power or the vehicle would not move and revved as if out of gear despite being put into gear. Had vehicle towed to Hubert Vester Chevrolet in Wilson NC where we purchased it with no remedy because symptoms would not replicate for the two weeks they had the vehicle. We drove it for a week, and the same thing happened again. Bucking started when slowing down. Towed to Phelps Chevrolet Greenville NC with same results of no repair or diagnoses after they kept it for three weeks. Neither dealership would provide a loaner vehicle. Vehicle is under extended drivetrain and bumper to bumper 100,000-mile warranties with no remedy for the issue. We are afraid to drive the vehicle but making payments on it. My personal code reader purchased from Wal-Mart scanned a P2715 Pressure control solenoid D stuck on and P0700 transmission control system. However, the dealerships would not accept the information for repairing the vehicle saying they were showing as past check engine light stored codes. Invoices for both unresolved incidents are attached. Vester applied for changing the transmission fluid with our warranty but unsure if it was completed.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER

The vehicle shows 'shift to park' when the vehicle is parked. Error has been occurring since June and the dealership will not warranty the sensor repair and replacement. Burns Chevrolet dealership quoted me $600 to replace it. Dealership acknowledged that it is a known issue and has affected many models, especially the Traverse. There is a technical service bulletin for the issue and should be a recall.

POWER TRAIN

The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that occasionally, after shifting into park(P), the message to "Shift to Park" was displayed on the instrument panel. There were no warning lights illuminated. During the failure, the contact was unable to turn off the vehicle. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was informed that the VIN was not under recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced Technical Service Bulletin Number: 19-NA-206; as a possible cause for failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

When attempting to put my 2022 Chevy Traverse in "Park," the vehicle does not always recognize that it is in the Park position. As a result, the system will not allow me to fully turn off the engine or power down the vehicle. I often have to shift between gears and attempt to place it in Park multiple times before the vehicle senses it correctly. This issue occurs intermittently and poses both safety and usability concerns, as the vehicle may not be fully secured when I believe it is in Park.

POWER TRAIN

Shift to park error code where vehicle does not turn off and vehicle does not appear to be in park. GM vehicles had this issue in the past and still appear to have this same issue.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

After buying 2022 Chevrolet Traverse premier started to notice a hissing noise. When I got somone to look at it I was informed that the weld on the bracket had broke. Since then due to vibration my exhaust manifold has cracked and I was quoted almost $2500 to repair it. I have noticed that I'm Not The Only One online but it's dealing with this issue that there are several people that have the exact same issue.

ENGINE

Special Coverage N242445280 Front exhaust pipe mounting bracket breaks creating a hole in the exhaust pipe. Coverage referrers to Left side pipe, but bracket connects to both left and right side pipe and when breaks can brake on both pipes at the bracket location creating an exhaust hole in either / both pipes. Currently GM is only replacing the left side but needs to replace both.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER

I have noticed several instances where my vehicle does not go in park when I put it in park. The engine still runs after turning off because of this and sometimes I don't catch that it has not locked in park and I get out of it and the vehicle will roll
