Interim owner notifications were sent in February 2021 with follow-up letters mailed in 2021 and 2022.
- Passenger air bag inflator (N212328760). Over 2.6 million vehicles including 2007-2011 Cadillac Escalades and GM trucks are affected across multiple states. The inflators contain the same defective propellant prone to degradation causing the risk of explosion and metal fragment ejection. Owners were notified beginning February 2021. Dealers will replace the inflators at no cost. No "Do Not Drive" or "Park Outside" warnings have been issued.
