On 8/7/2025, I pulled into my driveway very slowly, I didn’t have my foot on gas as I just went to our dumpster, and pressed the brake, I through the car was off, and went to exit, instead the car suddenly accelerated i tried to break, but the car didn’t stop and smashed into my garage. It is at the dealership, Wesley chapel BMW, they sent me a message that it won’t be ready today because there is recall and an issue but they have not told me what it is. I was researching and i saw what’s called “sudden unintended acceleration.”

On my way home driving, my car dashboard and LCD screen give me a warning of overheating and engine oil pressure too low. Car stalled on stalled soon after, and started smoking. So I had the car towed and was told from bmw dealership, I had to get a new engine. I have kept up on my oil change and maintenance and never got these warning signs until now. I did mr research and found out from Kelly blue book and other websites such Dealer Rater that bmw same year make and model have a few recalls including engine cooling and crankshaft sensor malfunction. The bmw mechanic advise the coolant and oil holder made of plastic melted down into the engine and engine needs to be replaced. However, there have been reports states that other have experience the same thing with bmw cars. This should not have happened when much warnings was not given and how ironic same year make and model had the same issue and recall was issued. I have screen shots to prove it.

I owned a 2020 BMW 430i (VIN: [XXX] ) manufactured in March 2019 at the Regensburg plant. This vehicle matches the exact criteria of NHTSA Recall 19V-352 for defective knee airbags that may fail to deploy in an accident. I was involved in a serious crash on [XXX], and the airbags did not deploy. Despite this, my VIN is not showing as included in the recall. I am submitting this as a potential VIN exclusion error that may have resulted in harm and needs urgent investigation. I have documentation of the vehicle's production date, model match, and accident details. I also suffered significant psychological trauma as a result of this failure, which escalated due to the lack of explanation at the time.
