Recalls
  • Seat Heater Control Module. NHTSA recall 14V753000 affects 7,256 vehicles. The control module may fail causing seat heaters to remain on and potentially overheat. This overheating can lead to smoldering and injury risk to the occupant. Aston Martin will install an additional module to interrupt power if failure occurs, free of charge.
  • Interior Door Unlocking Mechanism. NHTSA recall 15V846000 involves 6,076 vehicles with door unlocking systems that may fail when locked from outside. Occupants could be trapped inside, increasing injury risk. Dealers will disable the double locking feature by software reprogramming at no charge.
  • Accelerator Pedal Assembly. NHTSA recall 14V010000 affects 5,001 vehicles. The accelerator pedal arm may break due to a manufacturing defect, causing the engine to idle and preventing speed increase. Dealers will replace the pedal assembly free of charge. This recall supersedes an earlier one and requires the updated remedy.
  • Transmission Control Module Software. NHTSA recall 17V796000 covers 3,493 vehicles equipped with 6-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmissions. A communication error between the engine and transmission control modules might prevent the park position from engaging, risking vehicle rollaway on slopes. Dealers will update the transmission control software at no cost.
  • Battery Supply Cable. NHTSA recall 17V795000 impacts 1,953 vehicles. The battery cable may be damaged when the driver seat is fully rearward, causing a short circuit and fire risk. Dealers will inspect and install a routing block to prevent cable compression free of charge.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs related to these safety defects or unresolved recall issues may have rights under their state’s lemon law. Consulting a consumer protection attorney might help clarify those options.
