2022 ALLIANCE RV AVENUE Complaints and Recall Information
The 2022 ALLIANCE RV AVENUE has 2 complaints and 4 recalls filed with NHTSA. Owners most frequently report sagging and leaking of the freshwater and gray tanks, with issues of separation from the vehicle’s underbelly and improper drainage. Problems involving the black tank sagging without leaks have also been noted.
Common Issues- Freshwater tank sag. The freshwater tank sags and separates from the foam mounting, causing slight leaks and detachment risks.
- Gray tank failure. The gray tank near the kitchen sags and fails to empty properly, appearing to fall out from beneath the vehicle.
- Black tank sag. The black tank at the front shows sagging but no leakage reported.
Four recalls affect this model, addressing plumbing, structural, and electrical components. The recalls involve potential hazards from improperly installed tanks and defective shore power inlets, with remedies offered free of charge.
Recalls- Freshwater tank installation. NHTSA recall 24V286000 affects 697 vehicles and covers incorrect freshwater tank installation that could cause it to detach. A detached tank creates a road hazard increasing crash risk. Dealers will remount the tank at no cost. No "Do Not Drive" or "Park Outside" advisory was issued.
- Body structure defect. NHTSA recall 24V286000 also addresses body structure concerns related to the freshwater tank detachment risk in 697 units. The fix involves remounting the freshwater tank free of charge. No driving or parking restrictions apply.
- 50-amp shore power inlet. NHTSA recall 22V174000 covers 293 vehicles with a power inlet lug bolt defect caused by excessively hard metal. This prevents proper tightening and causes loose wiring connections that may lead to electrical arcs or fire risk. Dealers will inspect and replace the power inlet as needed at no charge. No driving or parking advisories were given.
- Electrical system defect. NHTSA recall 22V174000 also encompasses the electrical system risks from the defective shore power inlet in 293 travel trailers. The remedy includes free inspection and replacement by dealers. No immediate safety advisories for driving are in place.
Owners coping with repetitive repairs due to tank sagging, electrical defects, or unresolved recall issues might have rights under their state’s lemon law. Consulting a qualified attorney could clarify available protections and remedies.

The gray tank to the kitchen is sagging and will not appropriately empty. It appears to be falling out of the underbelly of the vehicle. The same is for the freshwater tank as well in the rear it appears to be coming down and is separating from the foam. It has a slight leak. The black tank in the front also appears to have a sag, however, is not leaking. I am aware that there are other models the same year made by alliance that also have been recalled. Maybe mine is just the first to have the issue begin? I saw the 2022 32RLS model on the recall and I have a 2022 30 RLS.
