  • Spare tire carrier defect. Recall 19V334000 affects 1,848 vehicles. The forward end of the spare tire carrier may contact the ground while the trailer moves. This contact may cause the carrier and spare tire to separate, creating a road hazard and increasing crash risk. Airstream will install corrected carrier brackets free of charge.
  • Temporary/emergency spare tire issue. Recall 19V334000 also covers the temporary spare tire with the same risk and fix as the carrier defect.
  • Trailer hitch ball coupler failure. Recall 19V753000 involves 1,888 units. Improper welding may prevent the Demco ball coupler from clamping properly, risking trailer detachment during towing. A temporary use adaptor and shim plate installation by dealers will address the defect free of charge.
  • Stove top installation defect. Recall 21V345000 affects 667 trailers. The stove top range is installed in a non-sealed cabinet, allowing flame to enter the cabinet and raise fire risk. Dealers will add panels or baffling to isolate airflow and prevent flame inversion at no cost.

Owners dealing with repeated safety defects, equipment failures, or unresolved recall issues may have rights under their state’s lemon law. Consulting with an attorney specializing in consumer protection can help determine eligibility and possible remedies.
